SWAVACARS Manual Update: Reinstall Required
02.13.13 - Hi all,
We have just released an update to SWAVACARS that updates the sound pack to have a real voice (Big thank you to Elijah Hoyt for the recordings!) and updates the chat to point to a new server. You will need to uninstall the current version and redownload this version from the website on the right side.

SWAVACARS Downtime
12.09.12 - Hello All,
Many of you have been asking why SWAVACARS has been laggy and slow lately. We had a power outage at the site hosting the chat server while I was out of town, so the computer was shutdown. I will be able to restart the computer tomorrow and the chat will be back to normal, but until then, it will remain laggy. We apologize for the inconvenience, and I will restore it as quickly as possible.

Where Have We Been?
10.25.12 - Folks,
I know there has been some confusion about the slow responses and not having pilot reports approved for the past couple of weeks. The reason for this has been a medical problem that showed up about two weeks ago. I have spent very little time at home during the last two weeks, and have been unable to answer emails or approve pilot reports. Being the main person right now who handles these tasks, when I became unavailable some things stayed stagnant for a while. I would like to assure you we are not going down anytime soon, and we will continue to grow like we have been. If you notice a delay in getting pilot reports approved, do not worry. The hour and flight count will not change on your profile until the reports are approved, but again do not worry; they will get approved.
I greatly appreciate your patience during this time and I hope to be getting back here shortly.

Server Outage
10.14.12 - Pilots,
As many of you know, we had an unforeseen server outage that lasted several days. During that time, the website and SWAVACARS were unusable as well as our email servers. Everything has been restored and no data has been lost. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience, and we don't anticipate it happening again.
